| | GEGA NEW has released albums of many young performers who have had a very successful carrier in Bulgaria and throughout the world. Most of them have graduated from prominent music colleges and academies in Europe and the USA.
The young cello player Kalin IVANOV began his education in Bulgaria and after that received his Master of Music degree from Brooklyn College, where he studied cello with Marion Feldman. He has participated in master classes given by distinguished cellists, among them David Soyer, Nathaniel Rosen, Steven Doane, Laurence Lesser, Anatoli Krastev and others. Currently he lives in the USA and teaches cello and chamber music at the Brooklyn Conservatory and Brooklyn College Preparatory Center for the Performing Arts. He also gives concerts in the USA and Europe and has recorded for many European and American radio stations. The reviews of critics and public regarding his performance have always been highly appreciative.
Emily WHITE (piano) earned music degrees from the University of Maryland, the Juilliard School, the Royal Academy of Music, and the Manhattan School of Music. She is Chair of Piano at the Brooklyn College Preparatory Center for the Performing Arts. She gives recitals and participates as solo player in famous orchestras in Europe and the USA.
The program of Kalin Ivanov and Emily White includes works from different periods and styles - from the pre-classics to contemporary composers: Sonata, Op. 6 by Samuel Barber; Sonata No. 5 in E minor by Antonio Vivaldi; Fantasiestucke, Op. 73 by Robert Schumann; Sonata No. 1 in E minor, Op. 38 by Johannes Brahms.
