| | World Christmas Songs - performer SOFIA BOYS CHOIR - one of the most prestigious Bulgarian children choirs. The performers aged 8 to 15 have always been thoroughly recruited from elementary schools in Sofia. Since 1989 Adriana Blagoeva has been the conductor the choir. In the last years the Sofia boys choir has a very active performing, touring and recording schedule. Its Easter and Christmas concerts and the participations in a number of national and international forums have become a tradition. During the past few years the Choir has widened the range of its repertoire and now it is quite diverse including Bulgarian choir music, Orthodox and Catholic ecclesiastical music (lithurgies), classical works of various styles from 14th century to our days. The Sofia boys choir is winner of many awards at international and national competitions. |
